Fatal Hit-and-Run Victim Was Fleeing Potomac Mills Assault: Police
Woman was one of two suspects in a robbery minutes before she was struck on her bicycle at a Dale Boulevard intersection.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — One of the suspects in a robbery and assault at Potomac Mills early Tuesday was a victim, herself, minutes later in a fatal hit-and-run at a Dale Boulevard intersection, according to Prince William County Police.
Nicole Marcella Lemar, 36, of Allentown, Penn., was transported to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries.
At 12:22 a.m., officers responded to a report of an assault at Potomac Mills. Two people, later identified as Lemar and Ronald Raymone Souers, 35, of Woodbridge, were meeting with the victim when an argument ensued.

According to police, Souers pushed the victim to the ground and Lemar allegedly assaulted her. They took the victim's cellphone and fled on bicycles.
Shortly after 1 a.m., officers responded to a crash involving a bicycle at the intersection of Dale Boulevard and Birchdale Avenue. Lemar was reportedly traveling west on Dale Boulevard in the left lane when the driver of an unidentified car in the same lane struck her bike.

The car then jumped the median before getting back in the lane and continuing down Dale Boulevard.
Souers remained at the scene of the crash. He has been charged with robbery. Bond information was not available.
