Motorcyclist Dies In Crash With Dump Truck In Woodbridge
Police say a dump truck ran over a motorcyclist, who lost control of the vehicle and fell off the motorcycle.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a dump truck last Thursday in the Woodbridge area, according to Prince William County Police.
The crash happened around 3:27 p.m. in the area of Old Bridge Road and Occoquan Road. Police say a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle was heading west on Old Bridge Road approaching Occoquan Road at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control and fell off the motorcycle before sliding under and being run over by a 2009 Roll-off Dumpster truck.
The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was identified as Melanie Ruby Morales, 23, of Woodbridge

The dump truck driver, a 56-year-old man from Triangle, remained at the scene and was not injured.
