VANCOUVER, WA — An Arby's manager in Vancouver has been arrested after police said he had child pornography and had urinated into containers of the restaurant's milkshake mix for sexual gratification.

Vancouver police said cybercrime investigators looking into dozens of photos and videos of child pornography learned that an image was downloaded at least once near an Arby's restaurant on Northeast 104th Avenue near Mill Plain Boulevard.

On May 10, Stephen Sharp, a night manager at the fast-food restaurant, told investigators he downloaded and distributed child pornography, and was sexually interested in children, police said.

Investigators searched his home and digital devices, finding a video of Sharp urinating into a container containing Arby's milkshake mix, police said. Sharp acknowledged that he urinated into the mixture for sexual gratification at least twice, police said.

Anyone who bought a milkshake from the location Oct. 30-31 and has a receipt or verifiable transaction information has been asked to contact detectives. Police have not found any evidence that Arby's or its franchisee knew what Sharp said he was doing.

Another manager at the restaurant told investigators that up to 40 milkshakes were sold the day the video was recorded, The Columbian reported, citing court records. Sharp reportedly told detectives he was confident he threw the bag away after urinating in it but that if he hadn't thrown it out, it would have been added to other mix by the next shift and served to customers.

Sharp, 29, was booked into the Clark County jail May 10 on charges including four counts of possessing child pornography, four counts of dealing child pornography and assault with sexual motivation. Court records showed he was ordered held on $40,000 bail.

A spokesperson for Arby's told Fox TV's digital team that Sharp's actions were "abhorrent and unacceptable."

"We have taken immediate action with the franchise group who terminated the former employee and is fully cooperating with the authorities in their investigation," the spokesperson said.
