For $85M, You Can Own Washington's Most Expensive Home
This Hunts Point home puts all others to shame.

BELLEVUE, WA — If you’re deep-pocketed enough to afford it, an $85 million mansion in Hunts Point could give you the opportunity to purchase the most expensive home for sale in the Evergreen State.
The most expensive homes on the market in the U.S. range in value from $225 million in California to $3 million in Nebraska, according to the real estate platform Point2Homes.com, which put together a list of the most expensive homes in for sale every U.S. state. But Washington's priciest listing, this gorgeous $85 million Hunts Point mansion, blows most other states out of the water. For comparison, Oregon's priciest manse is a mere $65 million.
While movie theaters, gyms, tennis courts and waterfronts are often the norm for pricey homes, some of these include private parks, private docks, horse barns and even underground tunnels. Washington's most expensive home eschews gimmicks like indoor bowling alleys, but it does have some classy accouterments, including over 300 feet of Lake Washington shoreline, and a dock big enough to moor boats, seaplanes or yachts up to 150 feet long.

The home's listing also highlights a tennis court, beach house, pool cabana and spa, but honestly the main selling point might just be the home itself. As realtors Anna Riley & Denise Niles explain, the building was designed by Richard Landry and is crafted primarily of sandstone and glass with "uncompromising quality and pedigree."
