Farzi Café will open its 11th international location, and first in the United States, later this month in Bellevue. Here's what to expect.

BELLEVUE, WA — An Indian restaurant brand with international renown plans to open its first location in the United States later this month in Bellevue. Farzi Café opened its first location in 2014, aiming to incorporate authentic flavors and styles into the broader world.

The restaurant taps traditional Indian spices and cooking methods and puts a unique spin on them, having already expanded into England, Canada and the Middle East. Popular fare utilizes chicken, lamb, dry-aged steaks, short ribs, prawns, salmon and halibut.

"Our vision is to make Indian food mainstream in the United States, and we look forward to making our first step in Bellevue," said Korawar Kalra, founder of Farzi and the broader Massive Restaurants brand. "Farzi Café is truly an inspiration to the senses, from traditional dishes with a modern flare to beautiful cocktails. It is an understatement to say we're thrilled to be in the United States for the first time, we can't wait to serve you."
