Arrest Made In 2011 Redmond Cold Case
Detectives on Wednesday arrested the former boyfriend of a Redmond woman who disappeared 11 years ago in Factoria.

BELLEVUE, WA — Redmond homicide detectives arrested a 44-year-old man Wednesday suspected in the disappearance of his former girlfriend more than a decade ago. Lorill Sinclaire vanished on Nov. 8, 2022, and was last seen near the Factoria Mall in Bellevue. Investigators later found her vehicle in a church parking lot near her boyfriend's apartment, who she was believed to be visiting before she disappeared.
One month later, dozens of search and rescue volunteers from King, Pierce and Snohomish counties fanned out across the woods near Coal Creek Parkway and Factoria Boulevard, but the search ultimately found no evidence. Investigators were unable to detect any activities or communication linked to Sinclaire in the years since.
Last year, a decade after the trail went cold, Redmond detectives resurfaced the case in hopes that new tips and better technology would finally lead to a break in the investigation. On Thursday, the Redmond Police Department announced they had arrested Sinclaire's former boyfriend, Mark Raymond Frisby, as a suspect in her disappearance.

King County Prosecutors on Thursday filed second-degree murder charges against Frisby and asked the judge to set bail at $3 million. Sinclaire's body has never been found, but investigators said her journal entries outlined Frisby's escalating behavior and a deteriorating mental state leading up to her disappearance.
In charging documents, prosecutors wrote:

"The DNA profile obtained from the knife blade, coupled with Mark’s purchase for
cleaning supplies the morning following her disappearance, suggests Lorill may have been killed in a manner that caused her to bleed. Furthermore, it is apparent Mark was suffering from some type of severe mental health issues, as evidenced by his behavior and actions just prior to Lorill’s disappearance. This was further evidenced by his behavior and actions following Lorill’s disappearance. Mark’s increasing paranoia became more noticeable after he repeatedly vocalized his suspicion that Lorill was involved in a satanic cult and somehow 'drugging' him and causing him physical harm."
