Bellevue Collection Stores Will Reopen On June 30
In one week, The Bellevue Collection will welcome shoppers back with a few added safety precautions. Here's what to know.
BELLEVUE, WA — Shopping centers at Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square and Bellevue Place are scheduled to welcome back customers next week, with some added precautions under phase 2 of Washington's Safe Start plan.
The Bellevue Collection will reopen June 30, with daily hours from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Each shopping center will enact enhanced cleaning protocols and safety measures, including upgraded ventilation systems.
Guests are asked to maintain physical distance, wear face coverings, and avoid shopping if they have any signs of illness.

Curb-side pickup options remain available at participating stores, and shoppers can receive online orders directly to their parking stall. Customers can learn more about the available options here.
Shoppers with "Be Rewarded" memberships are eligible for a complimentary gift if they visit Guest Services between June 30 and July 12.

COVID-19 safety precautions at the Bellevue Collection:
- Consultation with local hospital’s infection prevention team for best practices
- Continued use of a Certified Hygienist to confer on best cleaning protocols
- Utilization of certified COVID-19 surface testing
HEATING, VENTILATION & AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC):
- Planned installation of a sanitizing UV lighting HVAC system throughout Bellevue Square enclosed public areas
- Use outside air to maximize building air quality
- Continued implementation of stringent schedule for air filter replacement
- Application of hospital-grade disinfectant on air handling units in enclosed common areas, retail stores and restaurants
CLEANING PROTOCOLS
- Use of hospital-grade disinfectant cleaner throughout all public areas
- Use of electrostatic sanitizing disinfectant sprayers
- Implementation of enhanced cleaning frequency and protocol schedules with emphasis on high-touch areas
- Provide enhanced cleaning protocol training for all facilities employees
- Use of UV wands for surface decontamination
GUEST EXPERIENCE AND SAFETY
- Welcome signage recommending face coverings and information about social distancing
- Safety and cleanliness messaging including occupancy maximums
- Use of ambassador teams to greet guests and offer information and provide masks upon request
- Social distancing information and reminders in key locations such as elevators, queuing areas and escalators
- Offer automated and easily accessible hand sanitizing units placed throughout public areas
- Closure of Kid’s Cove and removal of other high-touch gathering areas to support social distancing
- Reconfiguration of public seating areas and furniture to support social distancing
- Use of floor decals to promote social distancing in appropriate areas and manage traffic flow
- Usage of masks by Kemper Development Company employees
- Restrooms will be modified to provide appropriate social distancing between individuals
