Bellevue Crews Respond To Water Main Break

Utility crews were called to a neighborhood north of Enatai Beach Park Monday to repair a water main break.

BELLEVUE, WA — A water main break in southwest Bellevue left 16 homes without water Monday morning, according to city officials. Utility crews responded to 106th Avenue Southeast shortly after 10:30 a.m. to assess the situation and make repairs.

The city tweeted that some homes may temporarily encounter disclosed water from pipe sediment, which is not harmful. Residents are encouraged to flush their system for 10 minutes with cold water to clear out the pipes.

By noon, the northbound lane of 106th Avenue Southeast remained closed while repairs continued. Traffic impacts, the city said, were minimal.
