Bellevue Neighborhood Walks Return Thursday
Bellevue leaders will visit several neighborhoods this summer to answer residents' questions and hear concerns directly.
BELLEVUE, WA — Bellevue is gearing up for its sixth summer of the city's Neighborhood Walks program, giving neighbors an easy way to share their thoughts with city leaders on a short stroll. Starting Thursday, Bellevue City Manager Brad Miyake and other department heads will visit local parks to chat with residents and lead a walk through the neighborhood.
The program began in 2017 with four "Summer Chats," and evolved into Neighborhood Walks in 2018, including six areas of the city. This year's schedule features four stops, beginning Thursday evening in Eastgate and concluding with a walk through Lake Hills on July 20.
