Bellevue Officer Dies; No Foul Play Suspected
Bellevue Sgt. Danny Young, a 23-year Bellevue veteran, died Saturday while off-duty, according to Bellevue police.
BELLEVUE, WA - A 23-year veteran officer with Bellevue police was found dead Saturday, according to the department. Sgt. Danny Young was off-duty when he died. Police do not suspect foul play, although his death is under investigation.
"He was a great father, friend, coworker and a valued member of the Bellevue Police Department for 23 years. Although no foul play is suspected, an investigation is ongoing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sgt. Young’s family and friends. Danny, you will be truly missed!" read a statement posted on Facebook by Bellevue police.
