Bellevue Police Release Sketch Of Woman Found In Meydenbauer Bay

Bellevue investigators hope someone will recognize the woman whose body was pulled from Meydenbauer Bay in early January.

BELLEVUE, WA — The Bellevue Police Department is turning to the public to help identify a woman who died earlier this month. Investigators released two sketches and photographs of the unidentified woman's clothing after her body was recovered from Meydenbauer Bay on Jan. 7.

Police described her as in her mid-40s to mid-50s, with brown and gray hair, brown eyes, and 5 feet 4 inches tall. Officers found several items of clothing in the nearby park, which they believe belonged to the woman, including blue Eddie Bauer jeans, a black Lands' End jacket, black Eddie Bauer boots and a teal turtleneck. Officers also recovered a key from inside one of the pockets, along with a plaid umbrella and a teal beanie.

Investigators ask anyone who recognizes the woman in the sketch to contact the city's tip line at 425-452-7853 or reach out to investigators via e-mail.
