Bellevue Weather Forecast: Pleasant Weekend, But Wet Days Ahead
Soak up what sun you can Saturday and Sunday, because the rain, wind and risk of landslides will be back again next week.

BELLEVUE, WA — Considering the week western Washington just had, we were due for some nice weather soon.
Fortunately, a break in the storm is on its way, and it couldn't have come at a better time: the weekend. According to the latest projections from the National Weather Service, a weak weather front will be passing over the region Saturday and Sunday and won't be having any significant impacts. In other words, we're getting a break.
Satellite showing clearing across portions of the area this afternoon, which made for a nice sunset up on the ridge. Lingering showers will taper the next few hours for a drier Sat. However, will likely see morning fog develop across the region overnight. #wawx :@OlympicNP pic.twitter.com/o2REjzAJXU

Saturday is expected to be the nicer of the two days, with dry conditions during the day. The weak front will move inland Saturday night, and could bring some very light rains and breezes, but they'll be scattered and significantly milder than anything we saw during the first half of last week.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. And so it will be Monday when the first in a series of systems will begin pounding the Puget Sound once again. Monday will be rainy and dreary, but Tuesday will be when the real nightmare begins with heavy rainfall, and gusty winds. Plus, while the dry weather Saturday will have lessened the risk of landslides, the wetness Monday and Tuesday means the risk for landslides will increase once again — and will likely stick around through at least Thursday as the rains won't let up. Finally, that rain will also mean rising rivers, but fortunately, there's no word yet of any potential flooding, the one silver lining for next week.
