A ruptured gas line at a construction site near Bellevue City Hall prompted some road closures Wednesday afternoon.

BELLEVUE, WA — A gas leak at a construction site near Bellevue City Hall led to a few road closures downtown on Wednesday, while crews worked to secure the ruptured line. The Bellevue Police Department reported the line break shortly after 2 p.m. Police blocked 112th Ave. NE to southbound traffic, starting at the NE 8th St. intersection. The police department said NE 6th St. was also closed between 110th Ave. NE and Interstate 405, and WSP troopers blocked the interstate's exits in the area.
Bellevue police said the leak was stabilized around 3:15 p.m., and all area streets were reopened.
