Grand Opening of Boys & Girls Clubs Lake Hills Clubhouse
Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue's New Lake Hills Clubhouse Prepares to Welcome Eastside Youth and Community

BELLEVUE, WASH. - Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue (BGCB) will celebrate the opening of their new Lake Hills Clubhouse on October 31st from 3-5pm, with a ribbon-cutting at 4pm.
The 10,200 square foot building, which was formerly a library, signifies a milestone in the Clubs’ mission to support all youth in Bellevue.
“We’re thrilled with the renovation of our Lake Hills Clubhouse,” says Tim Motts, CEO of BGCB. “We are committed to making an impact in young people throughout Bellevue and firmly believe an investment in our youth is an investment in our entire community.”
The Lake Hills Clubhouse can now serve 135 middle and high school students along with kids in 4th & 5th grades; that’s 100 more kids than previously.
The space features bright lights, bold graphics, new furniture, and dedicated spaces for a variety of activities for kids and teens. Among them, the Best Buy Teen Tech Center, a state-of-the-art STEM and technology center, a recording studio for podcasting and music and a sports court.
Students from nine schools in the area will have access to the Clubhouse. Some of these schools have more than 50% of their student population on free or reduced lunches. Over the last few years, BGCB has seen a growing number of students and families need financial assistance with program fees, a reflection of the changing demographics of the Eastside.
The grand re-opening will include a variety of events including:
- Tours of the Clubhouse
- A Halloween costume contest for youth
- State and local elected officials are expected to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony
Lake Hills Clubhouse is located at 15228 Lake Hills Boulevard, Bellevue.
“We are excited about the grand re-opening. It’s going to be a fun afternoon,” says Motts. “We would love for the community to come out and join in our celebration.”
