MLB 2024 Opening Day: Here’s What You Need To Know!

Ready to watch some baseball? Sure, the feeling of that preseason buzz is undeniable, but the real thrill lies in the moment that first pitch is thrown on Opening Day.

The 2024 Major League Baseball® regular season kicked off in Korea at the Seoul Series on March 20-21 when the Dodgers matched up against the Padres. The Mexico City Series (Astros vs. Rockies, April 27-28) and London Series (Mets vs. Phillies, June 8-9) will also help drive baseball into full swing.

However, the Traditional Opening Day presented by Chevrolet will take place on March 28 when all 30 MLB clubs are slated to play.

While the international series are sure to excite, there’s plenty to look forward to in the U.S. and Canada. Some highlights include two planned doubleheaders (Rangers at A’s on May 8, Rockies at Giants on July 27) and a special game in Birmingham, Alabama, between the Cardinals and Giants at Rickwood Field on June 20.

All 30 teams also will play on Jackie Robinson Day (April 15), Lou Gehrig Day (June 2), the Fourth of July and Roberto Clemente Day (Sept. 15).
