No Serious Injuries After I-405 Crash
An SUV driver escaped without major injuries after crashing into a semi-truck in Bellevue on Wednesday.

BELLEVUE, WA — The driver of an SUV escaped without serious injuries after a scary crash Wednesday in the northbound lanes of Interstate 405. A large emergency response closed the left three lanes of the freeway in Bellevue shortly before 11 a.m., slowing traffic in the area for about an hour.

In an update shared later in the afternoon, Washington State Patrol shared a photo from the scene which showed an SUV partially under the trailer of a semi-truck. Trooper Rick Johnson said the vehicle's driver was at fault in the crash, but fortunately did not suffer significant injuries.
