BELLEVUE, WA — Bellevue detectives are seeking more witnesses to a weekend shooting that left one man dead early Sunday. Officers responded to reports of shots fired around 4 a.m. on the 14400 block of Northeast 35th Street. Police said 911 callers described hearing several gunshots prior to a crash.

The first officers on the scene found a car crashed into another vehicle in a nearby parking lot, and a man inside with fatal gunshot wounds. In an update shared Monday morning, officials said detectives canvassed the area and processed the crime scene for 14 hours, but had yet to develop a suspect in the case.

Police said the victim was a 30-year-old man with local ties who recently moved several times and had an unknown last address. Investigators secured a search warrant for the vehicle, where detectives found "significant evidence."
