Overnight SR 520 Closures Planned This Week Over Lake Washington
Eastbound and westbound lanes will take turns being closed between Seattle and the Eastside for scheduled WSDOT work.

BELLEVUE, WA — Directional closures are planned along State Route 520 over Lake Washington this week, as state transportation crews continue work on the Montlake lid in Seattle. First up is an eastbound closure, scheduled Monday and Tuesday, blocking the route between Seattle and the Eastside between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Westbound closures are planned over the same timeframe Wednesday and Thursday, blocking traffic between 92nd Avenue Northeast and Montlake Boulevard. The directional closures should be lifted before most morning commutes begin. Construction work is also dependent on weather, but the bulk of the rain in the forecast is expected to arrive Friday after the closures are completed.
Drivers can check on the latest traffic alerts on WSDOT's website.
