Bad news for the Seattle Sounders. Star forward Clint Dempsey is done for the season. The team cites the irregular heartbeat that was first discovered last month.
The team had hoped the 33-year-old Dempsey - the second all-time goal scorer on the United States Men's National Team. - might make it back. He actually returned to the team on September 14th and participated in some light workouts.
But on Tuesday, the team said it wasn't going to happen.
