Storm Cleanup: Free Yard Waste Pickup In Bellevue

BELLEVUE, WA — If your yard took a hit during this week's wild weather, there's an easy way to deal with some of the mess. According to the city of Bellevue, Republic Services will haul away up to 32 gallons of extra yard waste at no added charge, along with regular compost service.

Crews will accept debris bundled, placed in an extra can or in a paper bag labeled "yard waste," and placed next to other organics on the next scheduled pickup day. Those who still have their Christmas trees can also have them removed, as long as the tree and branches are cut into 4-foot sections. No decorated, plastic or flocked trees will be accepted.
