Symetra employees gathered outside the company’s Bellevue headquarters on ’Blue Friday’ to cheer on the Seattle Seahawks as the team gets ready to take on the Green Bay Packers in Sunday’s NFC Championship game.
The blue and green love runs deep at 777 108th Avenue NE — for the last nine years Symetra has partnered with the Seahawks on the Symetra Heroes in the Classroom teacher recognition program. Among the 2014 Heroes honorees was Kjell Mattson, a fourth-grade teacher at Puesta del Sol Elementary in Bellevue.
