Bonney Lake High School Coach Named Assistant in U.S. Army All-American Bowl Game
Bonney Lake football coach Chad Barrett has been selected to help coach the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 7.

Chad Barrett, head football coach at Bonney Lake High School, was selected to coach at the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Barrett was selected as one of seven assistant coaches for the West squad, and is only the third coach from Washington State to ever receive this prestigious honor.
The Sumner School District and Bonney Lake High School are proud of coach Chad Barrett's achievement. Principal Linda Masteller says, "Chad's selection for this honor reflects on our high expectations for excellence in all of our programs at Bonney Lake HS!"
Coach Barrett commented, "Being recognized to coach in this game is not only a huge professional honor for me, but an even greater tribute the culture of achievement at our school and in our district."
Barrett, well known as one of the most innovative high school coaches in the state, has coached the Bonney Lake High School Panther football team for years, with a record of 19-9. In just 3 years, the program has grown to over 100 participants.
The 2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday, January 7, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas and features the top 90 senior high school football players from around the country in an East vesus West game format. The game will be broadcast nationally by NBC at 10:00 a.m. local time (PST).
