Student Arrested for Bomb Threat at Bonney Lake High
A student wrote a bomb threat at Bonney Lake High on Tues., Dec. 13 and school was canceled while police searched the area. Nothing was found; the student admitted to making the threat so he could skip class.

UPDATE:
A student at Bonney Lake High was arrested for making a false bomb threat on Tues., Dec. 13, according to a BLPD press release.
It started around 8:30 a.m. when a student on campus found a note in a commons area that said "School is going to blow up at noon" and reported it to the administration. The campus was placed on a modified lockdown for about an hour while police searched the premises. The campus was shut down early and students were sent home around 10:30 a.m. while police investigated the claim. Bonney Lake Police swept the school with the canine unit. No suspicious objects were found.

Police located the BLHS student, who admitted to making the bomb threat so he could skip class. That student was booked into Remann Hall and will soon face charges.
All afterschool activities, clubs and practices are canceled.Â
