Bonney Lake Police Blotter: Teenager Assaulted When She Walked Off the Bus, Too Much LSD and More

MAY 15, 2012
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF
Police were dispatched to a residence on 194th Ave. E. for a report of malicious mischief. The woman reported that her ex-boyfriend came to her residence to see their children and stayed there drinking alcohol all day. She wouldn't let him drive home so she offered to let him stay in the guest bedroom, but he refused and went into her room and passed out in her bed.

The woman and her daughter went to sleep in the guest bedroom and they locked the door. In the middle of the night the man attempted to break the bedroom door down. The woman barricaded herself against the door and many pieces of furniture and the wall were damaged in the struggle. He left before police arrived.
The woman called police a few hours later to say he had returned through a kitchen window. The officers arrived at the house and arrested him in the home. He was obviously under the influence and denied being in the house at all. He was arrested for domestic violence malicious mischief.

VIOLATION OF NO-CONTACT ORDER
Police were dispatched to Albertsons for a report of a man and his son who were out of control and possibly on narcotics. Both men were found sitting on the tailgate of a truck and they appeared calm and cooperative.
The father told police he was meeting his son for lunch because he was concerned. His son had been taking too much LSD and mushrooms and was making off-the-wall statements. When police asked the son about this, he admitted he needed help.
Dispatch ran the two men in their database and found that there was a protective order for the son against his father. Both wanted the protective order lifted but the father was arrested for violating it.
ASSAULT
Officers were dispatched to an assault report at a residence on 182nd Ave. E. The reporting party said that she was in her car picking up her granddaughter near Madrona Park when she witnessed her in a physical fight with another teenage girl. There was a boy there recording the fight on his cell phone.
Police found the girl hiding in some shrubs in Madrona Park.Β The girl told police she was mad at the other girl for getting her expelled from school. She waited for the girl to get off the bus so she could beat her up. She seemed proud of the fight and admitted to having a temper.
The teenage boy was found and police confiscated his cell phone with the video. He told police he was with the girl prior and fled with her after the assault, so police believed he knew when it was going to occur. He was arrested for obstructing a law enforcement officer and the girl was arrested for assault.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Officers were dispatched to Shariβs Restaurant for a possible fight. They arrived to find a man in front of the restaurant with blood on the top of his head. He refused medical care. He said he was assaulted by several people in the restaurant and was moody and uncooperative.
He said he was in the restaurant and accidentally knocked down a sign from the ceiling and several people started yelling at him. One of them called him a name and he got upset. Someone told him to go outside β he did so and was knocked over the head with something. The man was unsure of what it was that hit him.
A restaurant employee told police that the man came in to the restaurant and was loud and disruptive, then knocked down a sign. Other witnesses said that man was the problem from the start.
Based on witness accounts, the man was disorderly the entire time he was in the restaurant and he was charged with disorderly conduct.Β

COMMERCIAL WIRE BURGLARY
An officer responded to a commercial burglary on South Prairie Road E, which occurred something during the night before. The site is under construction and pieces of wire were missing.
Police found about $1,000 of copper and pipe fittings were stolen from the site. The landowner was given a case number and said that once they have power, a security system would be put in place.
