This week the Pierce County Council continued its in-depth review of the proposed 2022-2023 Biennial Budget by hearing a wide range of topics ranging court operations and Auditor’s Office functions, to Parks and Recreation needs and Human Services programs. Next week Council continues its review. Presentations will come from Finance and IT, followed by the Sheriff’s Department and Corrections on Wednesday. Thursday Council will hear from the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department. Friday morning the focus will be the proposed ferry fare increase, as presented by the Executive.
