Crash Spills Lumber on SR 165 and Johns Road
There is spilled lumber on SR 165 after two-car accident near the entrance to Wilkeson sent the cargo flying.
A crash on SR 165 and Johns Road has left firefighters picking up lumber from the roadway near the entrance to Wilkeson.
East Pierce Fire and Rescue reports that two vehicles - a flatbed truck carrying a load of lumber and a full-sized sedan - collided and the lumber was spilled all over Johns Road.
It appears from initial investigation that the sedan T-boned the truck. The driver of each vehicle was transported to an area hospital.

SR 165 remains open; Johns Road was closed until 4 p.m. while firefighters picked up the lumber.
