East Pierce Fire & Rescue performed a person-dog rescue near Lake Tapps today.
The department reported on its Twitter and Facebook pages that an animal control agent performed the rescue in the 21300 block of 10th Street East, on the northeast side of the lake.
Fire crews brought up the dog and person from a steep embankment. No injuries were reported.
