East Valley Highway in Sumner Open, West Valley Highway Remains Closed
East Valley Highway has reopened after the storm; Crews may not clear West Valley Highway by the end of the day, but it should be open to traffic on Tuesday.
The East Valley Highway is now open through Sumner again. Crews are moving over to the West Valley Highway, but it may not reopen today yet.Â
Drivers should prepare that it may still be closed for this evening's and tomorrow morning's commutes. The West Valley Highway and Forest Canyon are the only roads remaining closed in Sumner right now. Please help drivers go an alternate route before they reach the barricades.
