Bonney Lake's 13th Annual National Night Out Against Crime

Members of the Bonney Lake Police Department and East Pierce Fire and Rescue will be visiting the Sky Island and Lake Debra Jane neighborhoods on Tuesday, August 7th.Β Festivities will begin at 5:30 with a caravan of Police/Fire vehicles to Sky Island Park where residents have organized an ice cream social.Β 

The caravan will then leave at approximately 6:30 pm and travel to Debra Jane Park.Β The residents of Lake Debra Jane have organized a BBQ with hotdogs.Β  Both locations will have face painting, clowns, and many other activities.Β Community members will have an opportunity to speak one on one with police officers, City officials as well as get an up-close look at several different types of police and fire vehicles.Β 

Visit with McGruff the Crime Dog, Sparky the Fire Dog and the Bonney Lake High School Cheerleaders and have an opportunity to talk with your neighbors! Gift bags with safety tips and lots of fun items will be handed out to all of the children attending.Β Β 

Sky IslandΒ Park- 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Lake Debra Jane Park -Β 6:45 - 8:00 p.m.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
