Chef Dinner with Russell Lowell

A three-course Chef Dinner will be prepared and served by Bonney Lake High School students and teacher Kahale Ahina, working alongside professional chef Russell Lowell in a special event on Jan. 10.

Students in the BLHS Culinary Arts program learn skills in the culinary arts area in our state-of-the art instructional kitchen. The program introduces basic skills in our foods courses and then progresses on to Food Preparation and Culinary Arts for more advanced work. Students also learn food service concepts such as customer relations, accounting, food cost controls and marketing.

Lowell is the owner and Executive Chef of Russell Lowell Catering and two of Seattle’s most celebrated restaurants: The Garden Café at Molback’s, in Woodinville, and Russell’s, a rustic yet elegant restaurant nestled in the North Creek of Bothell.  Chef Lowell is a strong supporter of Washington farms, wineries and going green.
