From Pierce County: Community members can help shape the future of Lake Tapps County Park by attending an open house on Thursday, April 27. The meeting will be held at North Tapps Middle School, 20029 12th St. E. in Bonney Lake at 5:30 pm.
Lake Tapps County Park is one of the most visited county parks, particularly during summer months when families are looking to ‘beat the heat’ on the waterfront of Lake Tapps. The 135-acre expansion of the park offers opportunities to diversify recreational activities with the potential addition of playgrounds, a splash park, beach volleyball and trails. Waterfront improvements to benefit visitors will also be explored as well as critical improvements to parking and traffic flow.
