What would your school do with $5,000 worth of new technology?
Thatβs the question Century Link asked teachers across the region. Seven classrooms responded and each uploaded a video showing what they would do with the latest learning tools.
submitted a video proposing a βflipped classroomβ model β students would receive handheld devices that they could use at home and school showing teacher-made videos with white board lessons to help them understand difficult concepts better.

Mr. Martinβs math class was depicted in the video. Martin taught the Pythagorean theorem and students were shown at home later having a hard time remembering the lesson. With the new technology, students could re-watch his lesson on a tablet or smartphone while they work on their homework.
Vote in Century Linkβs Teachers & Technology competition now through Sunday, May 13.
