Lake Tapps Lacrosse Pushes Past Seattle Prep
Lake Tapps Lacrosse took a 13-8 victory against Seattle Prep on Saturday.
Andy Russell scored a season-high five goals, leading Lake Tapps to a 13-8 victory against Seattle Prep in Saturday’s game at Game Farm Park in Auburn.
The game was back and forth. Lake Tapps overcame a 6-5 deficit at the half and took a one-goal lead in the final stanza. In the fourth, Tapps landed six more goals, securing the win.
Josh Devenport and longpole defenseman Nick Fawcett each had 2 goals and Joey Lucchesi and Hayden Leckman combined for 12 ground balls to fuel the second win of the season for Lake Tapps. Cassidy Miller and Peter Christiansen each had 3 goals for the Panthers.

Lake Tapps (2-4-0) next faces Lakeside (0-8-0), Tuesday, April 12 in a 5 p.m. start at the Lakeside Upper School. Seattle Prep (3-3-0) next faces Eastlake (2-3-1), Wednesday, April 6 in a 7 p.m. start at Seattle’s Lower Woodland Park playfield.
