Letter to the Editor: Beware of Buttered Biscuit Coupon Deals
The Buttered Biscuit left something to be desired with this customer.

Hi Patch,
Just a note regarding one of our local restaurants.
The Buttered Biscuit advertises in local papers and offers coupons in them... Coupons that you never can quite use. My husband and I went for lunch... and were told that we could only use it Monday-Thursday for dinner. We understood... had lunch and everything was fine.

A week later we went for dinner and again tried to use the coupon... but we ordered a special that was advertised at the door and no... no coupon allowed. I pointed out to the waitress that there were no limitations listed on the coupon and the words "Other restrictions may apply" were also not there, but still we were told 'no.'
We asked her to contact Tammy (the owner) and explain our situation and we were told we could use the coupon for the special if we would pay $11 more than the listed price. We said no.

I took back the unusable coupon and biting my tongue, my husband and I ordered our meal. After we paid for dinner, on the receipt, we both started laughing as it said, "Enjoy a birthday meal on us!!"
I am worried it would have to be a PB&J on Tuesday afternoon between 3:00 and 3:20, although no restrictions were listed. I love their food, but service lacks alot.
This wasn't our first disappointment there. My daughter slipped in water and fell there and the waitress stepped over her... literally. Luckily she was only bruised. No apologies were ever received although many attempts to tell the owner, both in person and via email of what happened. I am afraid that they won't be given a chance to disappoint us again.
Sincerely,
