Local Gymnasts Advance to State Competition

One gymnast from Bonney Lake High School and three from Sumner High School will compete in the State Gymnastics competition being held February 17-18, 2012 at the Tacoma Dome.
 
Mallory Zimbelman from Bonney Lake will compete on balance beam, Sierra Tinsley from Sumner will compete on vault, uneven bars and balance beam, Kimi Nakayama from Sumner will compete vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise and Aja Ruswick from Sumner will compete uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.
 
These gymnasts have competed the past two weekends at the Sub-district and District competitions and will represent their schools on Friday, February 17 at the State competition.
