Moms Talk: How Can We Connect With Our Kids While Working Full Time?
Some moms, husbands and partners have to have strenuous full time jobs to support a family. How can we make sure our kids still feel connected to us?

In East Pierce, many parents are police, firefighters, members of search and rescue teams or in the military. They can go on assignments in the mountains or missions in Afghanistan that can last weeks, or even a year.
Sometimes they work the night beat, or work around the clock for many days in a row before coming home. Or, as has been the case with countless families across the nation, one or both partners take another full time job to supplement their incomes. This could translate into missed school plays, concerts or sports games. It's not that they don't want to be there and support their kids, it's just that in all honesty, they can't make it.
