Mountain View Middle School Student Arrested for Bomb Threat
A bomb threat at Mountain View Middle School prompted a temporary lockdown this morning. Nothing was found and students resumed a normal schedule after lunch. The student who wrote the note admitted to doing it so he could skip a test.

Mountain View Middle School was placed under modified lockdown while Bonney Lake Police investigated a written bomb threat on Fri., Dec. 16. A student was later arrested and charged with felony threats after he admitted to writing the note becuase he wasn't prepared to take a test.
The lockdown was lifted just before lunch and students resumed their normal day.
Bonney Lake Police spokesman Officer Terry Carter admitted that this is probably a copycat of Tuesday's incident at Bonney Lake High. Earlier this week, after he wrote a bomb threat note and left it in a common area on campus. He later admitted to doing it so he could get out of class.
