Police Search for Man Connected to Puyallup Home Invasion

27 year-old Joshua Baker is wanted for his alleged role in the home invasion of a retired Puyallup police officer that left one of Baker's accomplices dead.

Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives are attempting to locate suspect Joshua Baker. A felony warrant has been issued for Baker’s arrest for Burglary in the 1st degree, Attempted Robbery in the 1st degree, and Assault in the 2nd degree.

At 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday April 4th, 2012, suspect Joshua Baker and three accomplices burglarized a house on 134th Ave. E. in Puyallup . When the suspects confronted the homeowner, the homeowner fired several shots at the suspects.  Baker’s accomplice died from his wounds and the two other accomplices were arrested; Baker’s whereabouts are unknown at this time.

Joshua David Baker is a white male, 27 years old, 5’7” tall, 165 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.  He is believed to be suffering from a gunshot wound from this incident.
