Sumner Valley Preschool Wins Reader's Choice Award

Selecting a preschool for your child isn’t always an easy decision. Choosing the winner for was even tougher.

After the contest elicited 19 comments plus 70 votes, two things are clear—Bonney Lake and Sumner are home to some amazing preschools, and local parents are seriously passionate about their kids’ education.

After reviewing the final tally and comments on the site and our Facebook page, we’re pleased to announce as winner of Patch’s Readers’ Choice Award.

Sumner Valley focuses on learning with the senses. Classrooms are filled with natural light and “touches of home” to make children feel comfortable. It's a small school, to ensure that every child gets a lot of one-on-one attention. The child care center has a large outside area for children to run, play games, swing, climb, and enjoy being active.

In addition, we would like to give a huge shout out to the Little Sprouts Preschool at and supporters for their votes. The three schools definitely kept the race interesting throughout the week! We want to thank everyone for participating this week.
