Sumner HS Band Needs Your Help to Win $10,000
Text 'ROCK16' to 24300 from your phone once a day to help the Spartan's band program win $10,000.
The Sumner High School band program is in the running to win $10,000 in the fifth-annual The Rock Wood Fired Pizza & Spirits Battle of the Bands, co-sponsored by KZOK 102.5 FM and Comcast Xfinity.
The voting process is now in full swing as the Spartans compete against 28 other high school band programs in the area.

Visit Battle of the Bands website to watch the videos. Sumner is number 16 on the list with the song, “Too Much Time on My Hands" by Styx.
You can vote by text messaging 'ROCK16' to 24300 (one text per day per phone). (The cost of text messaging may apply.)

Text voting runs from Nov. 14 to Dec. 2, and the top 10 will be announced on the air on Dec. 5. A panel of celebrity judges will then rank the finalists based on quality of musicianship; originality of arrangement and song choice; technical ability; and overall performance. In addition to the grand prize, three divisional winners will each receive $1,000.
