Sumner Pool Opens for Swim Training, Lap Swim

This spring, the Sumner pool will be open for weekly swimming lessons on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in a program that works in unison with the Sumner/Bonney Lake Parks and Recreation Department.

Group training and private lessons are available and are sometimes age-specific.

Here is the schedule listed below, and registration is required for all pool sessions. Registration is required beforehand, not at the pool.

Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Weekly swimming lessons

Group Training: $50.00

Private Lessons: $75.00

Out of District fee (per student): $5.00

Lap Swim: $40.00

Out of District fee (per person): $5.00

There is a $5 per person non-resident fee for all programs. They accept VISA/MC debit and credit cards! There is a $10 processing fee for all refunds. No refund will be issued once a class is 50 percent completed.

SWIM REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Pre-registration is required for all pool sessions. Registration will not be accepted at the pool. Register in person at the Recreation Office, located behind . Forms can be downloaded from the the Sumner School District web site or picked up at the Rec office—phone or fax in your form and payment with Debit/VISA or MC Credit card.

Cost: $40 per monthly session (12 dates per session) Limited to 30 passes sold per session

Tuesday/Thursday: 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. (six lanes)

Saturday: 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 PM (three lanes)

Saturday: 12:30 - 1:30 PM (six lanes)

March Session:  March 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26
April Session: April 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 30
May Session:  May 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28

Ages 8 and older Classes are 45 minutes per day $50 per monthly session

Saturdays: 9:00 a.m., 9:50 a.m., 10:40 a.m.
March Session: March 5, 12, 19 & 26

April Session: April 9, 16, 23 & 30

May Session: May 7, 14, 21 & 28

Under 8 years old: Classes are 30 minutes per day $50 per monthly session

Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. 9:35 a.m. 10:10 a.m. 10:45 a.m.

March Session: March 5, 12, 19 & 26

April Session: April 9, 16, 23 & 30

May Session: May 7, 14, 21 & 28

All ages classes are 30 minutes per day, $75 per monthly session

Saturdays: 10:45 a.m., 11:20 a.m. 11:55 a.m.
