Sumner’s Artsy Alley Needs a Name

This summer, local volunteers and representatives from the Pomegranate Center to complete Sumner’s community gathering space, fitted in the alleyway between and the .

But what’s its name?

“Good question. No one has an official name for it yet,” said Carmen Palmer, head of communications for the city of Sumner. “Want to ask readers what they think it should be called?”

Here at Patch, we’ve been calling it ‘Artsy Alley.’ Over at City Hall, it’s been ‘Main Street Alley.’ Some call it ‘Rhubarb Alley,’ others have simply said ‘Gathering Space.’
