'Unsung Heroes' Honored at Annual Community Summit

Five local leaders were honored for their dedication to the community at Thursday's .

Each were nominated for their outstanding commitment making a difference.

Reanne Charuhas

Reanne is a student at Sumner High and was honored for her work in coordinating student outreach and volunteer events, like the Winter Wishes program for the Sumner School District.

Crystal Brown

Crystal is a Bonney Lake High student and was honored for her work with Key Club and volunteer work at Cedar Ridge Retirement Center.

Jackee Bechtold

Jackee is an active member of the and is the Daffodil Princess Selection Coordinator.

Samantha Brendible

Samantha is a parent volunteer with the Prom Project and helped jumpstart a Latino parent group for the district.

Beautify Bonney Lake

Lillian McGinnis, executive director of Beautify Bonney Lake, accepted the award on behalf of the entire volunteer team.
