Growing Tomatoes - Successfully! with Wally Prestbo

Everyone loves to learn about growing tomatoes from the ever-popular Mr. Tomato man of the Bellevue Demonstration Garden!  Learn the basics of all aspects of growing tomatoes - varieties, planting seeds, transplanting, planting in ground or containers, fertilizing, staking, watering, pruning, problems and diseases. Participants will pot-up and take home a tomato plant.

Wally Prestbo, who grew up on a farm in Spokane, tends the tomatoes at the Bellevue Demonstration Garden. Every year, he stakes, trellises and cages tomatoes a dozen ways to demonstrate the possibilities.
