King County Develops Fault With Wireless Telephone Service

· We are currently experiencing intermittent technical issues with some wireless telephone service in all of King County.

· This may affect your ability to reach 911.

· If you have an emergency, try calling 911. It may take longer to connect so be patient, but if that doesn’t work, try texting 911, or calling from a different location or a different phone.

· If your 911 call or text does not go through, try calling your local police or fire agencies for help. Those 10-digit phone numbers are listed at www.kingcounty.gov/911

· Full service will be restored as quickly as possible.

· Please DO NOT call or text 911 simply to test the system.
