Photos Of The Week: Mt. Rainier National Park On Its Birthday
An Enumclaw photographer captured some incredible images of the state's tallest mountain.
ENUMCLAW, WA - Last Thursday was the 116th birthday of Mt. Rainier National Park (the mountain, of course, is much older - about 500,000 years old).
Enumclaw resident Pat Roberts recently snapped two stunning photos of the mountain - and that's why they are our photos of the week.
Those UFO-like clouds that appear over Mt. Rainier are called "lenticular clouds."
