Shoreline Artist Lena Leitzke Coming To Enumclaw

From the City of Enumclaw: The City of Enumclaw and 4Culture of King County look forward to an exhibit of exciting paintings by Lena Leitzke, a well-known Shoreline, WA painter. Her work is frequently seen in galleries, juried shows, and also on Facebook. Lena experiments and paints in a variety of media with much success. Her vibrant works of art demonstrate her passion for color and excitement for life.

Lena Leitzke’s paintings express interests in everything from farm animals, to portraits, and landscapes. Now, in addition to Parklane Fine Art Gallery and Gallery North, we find wonderful Lena Leitzke art in Enumclaw’s Gallery 2018, located at City Hall in downtown Enumclaw.

I began drawing at an early age. My mother encouraged me to draw the human figure believing that like the Renaissance artists, the human figure is the foundation of an artist’s education. I still enjoy creating charcoal drawings and portraits.

After joining Parklane Gallery in Kirkland, WA in 2001, I was inspired to continue my mission to create vivid paintings that celebrate people's love of life. My viewers can feel my energy and vitality in every brush stroke.

Being self-taught, I have explored different styles and techniques on canvases from large scale to miniatures, abstract to realism. My subjects range from portraits to landscapes. My medium can be oil, watercolor, or acrylics. Discovering artistic secrets on my own is incredibly exciting.

As an award-winning artist, Lena has participated in many Juried shows across the country. Lena welcomes commission work.

Lena Leitzke resides in Shoreline, WA with her husband and Silver Persian cat Kisha.

Hall is closed on national holidays. Gallery 2018 is closed to the public on Tuesday of each week for
