Wind Advisory In Effect In King County: NWS

Expect strong wind gusts throughout the day Monday, especially near gaps in the Cascades.

ENUMCLAW, WA - The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for eastern King County until noon Monday. Forecasters expect gusts of up to 45 MPH, with winds stronger near gaps in the Cascades.

The advisory warns of winds that could knock down trees or power lines, and could cause difficult driving conditions. Cities that could be highly impacted include North Bend, Enumclaw, Buckley, and Gold Bar.

Aside from high winds gusts, expect winds between 15 and 30 MPH, peaking around mid-morning, according to the National Weather Service.
