On May 25, a 62-year-old male slid on asphalt and injured his legs and arms when his motorcycle spun out of control at the intersection of Sehmel and Burnham Drive. He was transported to a nearby hospital with multiple abrasions.

On May 28, a 16-year-old boy slid into home plate during a baseball game and broke his leg upon impact with another player. He was transported to a nearby hospital for continued treatment. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
On May 28, a homeowner extinguished a small stump fire, containing yard debris clippings, after crews received a complaint from a neighbor. The engine crew also informed the homeowner of the burning restrictions within city limits. The homeowner said he was unaware.
On May 29, the fire department responded to a two-car accident at the intersection of Rosedale Avenue and Skansie Avenue. One of the vehicles was lifted off the ground by the T-bone impact on the passenger side. Crews stabilized the vehicle and safely removed the patient, who was transported to a local hospital for neck and back pain.
On May 30, a 2-year-old suffered an acute onset of facial swelling, coughing and vomiting after ingesting a pistachio nut. Crews transported the patient after evaluation for further treatment in a hospital.
On May 31, a passerby reported a possible car fire from a vehicle that was parked on the shoulder near Olympic Drive on SR 16. Upon arrival, the car was disabled but not on fire and did not need fire department assistance. It was then turned over to the Washington State Patrol at the location.
