Husband-Wife Duo Named Winners in Photo Contest
Jim and Janet Nelson both received awards for their photographs at the Washington State Photographers Exhibition.
Avid photographers, Jim and Janet Nelson of Gig Harbor, each won an award at the 's Washington State Photographers Exhibition this year.
The contest consisted of seven categories: animals, around Washington, children, general, nature, photo travel and portrait.
Jim's Bright Fog in Gig Harbor won the Judges' Choice award in the "Around Washington" category. Meanwhile, his wife's photo of the Killarney waterpump received honorable mention in the travel category.

The husband-and-wife duo has been capturing stunning images with their digital cameras for the last 18 years.
"Living in Gig Harbor, there's always something to photograph," Jim said.
